I’ve learned a lot here on this site. Thanks in advance for your input.

I took these pics today, and things just don’t look right. Who knows what the previous owner has done with it. It’s an LJ with what I think may have a small lift. (Possibly, I measured the rear coils and they’re right at 8” but the front has a couple of pucks, measures 14.5”) Anyway, the TC drop makes no sense, it’s lowered about 1 1/8” or 1 1/4. I really want to put it back where it belongs, without the spacers.

looking at these pics, doesn’t it look like the angle will improve by putting it back to the factory position, no spacers?? I would have to assume someone installed some sort of a kit that came with the TC drop kit so they installed it.

Factory fixed length control arms mean the angles can't be too far off. The front has a 2.5" lift but the rear is stock height.

A more useful photo would have been one that shows most of the driveshaft and more of the rear axle all the way to the axle tube.

As others have stated, get rid of the drop. It absolutely should not be needed. Remove it. Can repost some pics or just drive it. If it has no new vibrations you should be good to go.

Okay, thanks Jerry.

Maybe these will be better

I'm going to jump in and bang the same drum as everyone else. Remove that transfer case drop. The transfer case drop is something that people often do in a short wheelbase TJ when installing a significant lift to lessen drive shaft angle. Because this looks like an LJ with not a lot of lift the angles are mild enough that you don't need to drop the t-case. Once the transfer case is put back in its original location the transfer case and pinion should be about parallel with one another.
