That looks great! I also love the radiused wheel wells. Speaking strictly on the aesthetics of the TJ's rear flares, it has always bugged me that the rear flare is squared-off, whereas the radius of the fender/tub is rounded. Short of painting the area black, or running an inner liner, the difference just jumps out at you. I searched for an aftermarket fender flare for TJs that would match the radius, but have never found one. And to be honest, it might look better in my head than in reality...(shrug)

Have you seen a CJ rear flare?

I have, but the ones I've seen were on rigs with huge tires on 'em, and it was hard for me to judge whether or not I liked 'em. Kind of hard to explain, but I want to think it would look great on a TJ, but haven't seen one that absolutely works for me...yet!

Opening my tailgate I just pull the latch. Drop down and you have to open the tire carrier and secure it then release both locks on the drop down. My Jeep rattles enough already

This is not a bad idea.
What if the spare tire folds down and up with the tail gate, it will be a good mod.
That would likely be one heavy beast to lift, and dropping it down would be exciting! Especially if running 33" tires, or larger. I think I'd pass on that one...

No, not too fast to quit on me on this dream :)
There are mechanical spring assembly that will help lift a heavy door.
It is like the concept of an engine hood cover.
