Got started up the mountain

Ran into some mud first thing

The white XJ was running Duratrac's....the rest of us were on Cooper STT pro's and Toyo Mud

Did I ever mention how much I hate mud?

But then we went on to some rocks

Eventually I made it up but the guy with the camera stopped filming to get out of the way

And expensive "crunch"

Pretty long video, but a good mud-free trail

Not sure why it's not giving a window but the link is above

Wow, that looks like fun!

Did you run into Rayland Gibbons or Boyd Crowder while you were there? :D

I've never really heard a lot about the area. Seems it's always on the news, or in documentaries about being the poorest county in the US, meth use, etc.
I saw some "typical white trash" areas, but nothing earth shattering. I knew our club leader chose the Putney side because apparently the Everetts side is so full of meth-heads and thieves that you can't leave your rig parked anywhere and expect to have anything left of it in the AM, but that's all I knew.
But when I returned and posted my videos, my mother called and said that she was a chaperone on a youth mission trip to that area to help several families there. I really had no idea it was so bad until I came back. Really had no idea so many knew about the area. I just knew there was some kick-ass wheeling there (when it's dry)
