Electrical, sometimes my speedometer and tach stop working

Join the club, sometimes mine fixes itself, most times I have to tap horn or flip hazard switch rapidly. I have replaced the gauge cluster connectors and did some voltage/ground tests. Intermittents like this are a pain in the ass to diagnose.

I had a 99 that did that. It was just loose. You could push on it and it sould start working. I think there was either a recall on it or a TSB

Hmm, if you lose ground connection wouldn't it affect all the gauges not just speedo and tach?
