Engine and transmission swap

I’m thinking about buying a 97 with an auto and it has about 60k miles.

Mine is a 2002 manual with 135k miles.

Main reason for the swap is the transmission but with that much difference in mileage I’m tempted to just swap the engine with it.

is there anything about swapping a 02 to 97 that I should be worried about.

The blocks do not interchange without modifications.

And a 60k 27 year old motor might have more problems than a well driven and maintained 260k motor.
