Engine Codes

Hey guys!

A buddy of mine has a OBD II Diagnostic tool, I ran my codes and I got these two:
P1281 Thermostat Malfunction
P0700 Transmission Malfunction Present

I have a 2003 Rubicon, she's got over 153k on the odometer. I have also redone the entire cooling system.

I hope you guys have some advice!

The code P-1281 means the computer is seeing an out of spec operating temperature.
What temperature thermostat did you install ? The stock thermostat is around 195*.
When you say... that you have redone the entire cooling system; does that mean that you replaced the coolant sensor too ? IF so... what sensor did you use ?
IF the sensor you used is not a Mopar OEM sensor; then there is a good chance that is your problem.
