I had some stirrups made several years ago. I never use them though. They bolt to the front seat at the floor and stow next to the seat on the floor. Toss them out and use it to get in, then put it back next to the door. Can be sketchy. Requires coordination.

Another idea was a removable step. It bolts underneath on the slider or torque boxes and can easily be removed when going wheelin’.

Best two ideas I’ve seen.

My wife insisted on the same thing when she hit 60 (Jeep lifted on 35s). I said NO, and suggested a diet and exercise program as a solution. The divorce is still being finalized.
p.s. They make stirrups that hook onto the door opening and remove easily, or you could just pick her up and help her get in.

My wife has mobility and stability problems, so the stirrup type thing, or anything that moves around, or anything with a small area to step on wouldn’t work for her. I got this mainly for use in our truck because it’s a little taller and harder for her to get in. It was still slightly tall for her to comfortably step up onto, so I cut as much off the legs, without getting into the braces, and still being able to rivet the rubber feet back on. I cut off maybe 3 or 4 inches. She really likes it and is able to step up with both feet on it and safely sit into the seat from there. I keep it in the bed of the truck but on particularly bad days, she may use it for the Jeep. It folds up, but still takes up a bit of space in the Jeep.

How about the $2000 powered drop rock sliders. Someone makes em.
Or MORE has a removable hitch pin step.
I could find ya a link but…

Mind sharing some info on these?

I stated out with some Carr steps and welded the brackets to some flat steel plate. Then drilled and tapped the underside of my sliders. Drilled some holes in the flat plate and use two 3/8" bolts to attach them. When off road just remove the bolts and the steps, and your ready to go in a couple of minutes

Very nice. How sturdy does it feel?

I like the concept, it may need some reworking for my mini-boatsides, that move the flat bottom surface further inwards.

This is super nice setup. I have these Carr steps on my F-250 just for the wife. And they don’t looo horrible.
