Either I’ve got oil pressure issues or gauge issues.
Seems like from time to time, if I’ve been driving for a while, then have to stop for some reason (lights, traffic, whatever) as soon as the RPM’s drop, the oil pressure gauge drops to zero. Soon as I’m back on the gas, it’s back up. Though now that I’ve been paying attention, it appears that the gauge is on the high side.
Then some days it just sits there like normal.
I have a new MOPAR sensor at the house, but haven’t had the opportunity to install it and see if that’s the issue.
Anyone else experienced this?
I’ve only got ~180k on an ‘06 so that seems somewhat early to be seeing bearing issues no?
