Hello!

My local Jeep shop hasn’t been able to figure it out and the smoke test didn’t show anything up.

After they dropped the tank to throw up the savvy gas tank slid, I’ve had an intermittent evap code. They don’t occur all at the same time, and it seems they come on once every few days.

They are “pinched hose, large and small EVAP leak.” With the itermittent nature, and the fact they don’t all show up at the same time, any ideas if it’s not related to hoses in the gas tank? The shop doesn’t seem interested in dropping the tank so wondering if it’s the LDP or something else.

Delete if not appropriate. Thanks!

Very interested in this... I have a code related to this that won't go away. PO had a smoke test done and couldn't find it - the code came up after he had the fuel pump replaced. I figure someone bumped something on top of the tank, causing the leak I'm getting.

If you didn't have the codes before dropping the tank, I would suspect there is an issue with the lines and you'll need to drop it to check it. They could have cracked a plastic line or one of the roll over valves.

It's pretty easy to pinch lines when installing a tank if attention is not paid. They should just own up to it and take the tank back down if the problem was not there before.
