Exhaust hanger broke: Is this bad?

After a recent trip out wheeling i've noticed more vibrations, more specifically vibrations while just idling with my foot on the brake. Not sure what to make of that quite yet, but I was crawling under my Jeep today looking around trying to move things and see if anything just seemed loose or out of the ordinary.

I came across this hanger arm that looks like it has been cut at some point, possibly during my frame repair to access things more and was tack welded and the tack broke. So the exhaust part seems to have some slight play in it and makes a knocking sound if I shake it, however it doesn't seem like its unsafe or anything.

I'm kind of wondering is this bad that its not connected? or could this be a contributor to some of my vibrations?

The photo is taken from the underneath the passenger side, in front of the t-case skid plate along the exhaust.

It's not good, but it's livable. I'd have it fixed, as it's a very easy fix. I don't think this would be causing any vibrations though.

A welder could easily fix that in about 10 seconds.

I roads on my rusty stock exhaust for almost a year with it having no bracket there at all and it was livable like he said but it rattled, and rattled lol. ‘Till I upgraded but you really can just have someone do a quick Tig spot weld

I have the same question. We are going to cover a hole the hanger was welded to with sheet metal and clamps. Fix for now until I can get it fixed. How long can this hold?
