Exterior Windshield Trim / Gasket

So, I noticed the trim is popping out from around the window on my '05

What is the best way to address this before it creeps and spreads?

Anyone have any ideas?
Thinking of adding a bead of silicone (or other?) and taping it down tight till set.

If someone has a better idea...please chime in!

It's just trim and not easily put back in after the butyl that actually seals the windshield has set.

You can try blk RTV, blk weatherstrip sealant, etc.
