So Extreme Terrain is having a giveaway where you can win either a built JK or a new JL (their terms). I entered just to have something to do - I never win anything, so it doesn't matter to me which one the winner will actually get. One thing caught my eye, the "built" JK (mostly Smittybilt/Barricade stuff) has 35 inch tires and 4.10 gearing. Can anyone with JK experience tell me if that is anywhere near a good idea? Note: the JL also has 35's but no mention of gear ratios. Neither one mentioned auto transmission or manual.

JL got my vote. It doesn't look as angry.

I voted for the JK a few weeks back. I hear/read there are all sorts of issues with the JL. Not good...

That JK is fairly nice, but I voated for the JL, I'll keep my LJ for wheeling and dd the JL... Besides the initials should confuse people nicely.

There must have been a time
when we could have said no.

Oh and since I'd guess they are auto as a lot of potential winners couldn't drive stick 4.10s and 35s is just about perfect on a 3.6 jk.
