Fender Flare Restoration

Yes, they are brand new (new old stock) I got from the dealer online. The stock ones were faded and I was simply too lazy to paint them, so I just ordered brand new ones instead

I'm very close to doing the same thing. I have enough tasks on my list refurbishing this TJ. I may jsut buy new stock fenders, the question I have is, I'm thinking that I'd want to spray them with some clear coat to give them some UV protection. Thoughts?

I'm too lazy these days, I'd just buy new ones, haha.

If you do spray them, it's all in the prep. You'll want to spend at least a few hours prepping them, then shoot them with some SEM Landau Black, followed by some SEM Low Luster Clear Coat.

That's as close to factory as you'll get with paint (and it looks damn good too!).
