So I had a pretty good 45-50 mph shimmy and figured it was just a tire that was out of balance. I took it to a good local shop that after spending a lot of time on the balance finally figured out it had a bad joint on the drag link at its Pitman end. It was really worn out and sloppy. I was slapping my forehead when they showed that to me, I should have caught that myself.
So I rented a pickle fork and replaced it with a new https://www.rockjock4x4.com/CE-9701DLR?undefined=T&undefined=94.00&undefined=1&undefined=3. Great, took it for a test drive and it was better but still not completely shimmy free (it was not Death Wobble). So I had my wife do the quick turns on the steering wheel and I found the joint at the other end of the drag link was also worn out, though not as bad as the the Pitman-end joint was. So now I have a https://www.rockjock4x4.com/scs/my_account.ssp#purchases/view/salesorder/1212732 on order. This shit's not cheap lol! But at least they're the first parts I have ever had to replace on my Currectlync so I'm not complaining.
