Firewall Electrical Connectors

Is there a trick to disconnectig the wiring connectors at the top center of the firewall on a 99 tj? I'm taking the body off to work on the frame over the winter and these really don't want to come apart. Figured I'd get some input before getting too aggressive.

The red tab shown in the photo is in the unlocked position. Now, all you need to do is press down on the black tab that is behind the red lock and pull them apart.

Maybe lock the red tab again and then unlock it to make sure it's completely disengaged.

The one on the left is broken so there is nothing to make it release. You have to get in there with a pick and lift the locking tab.
