Hey everyone! I am selling a nearly new TJ Gobi roof rack. I am taking the build a different direction. This rack includes the additional sunroof insert, two rear ladders, wind screen, and the quick release tabs so you can easily lower the soft top. It is set up for a light bar and you can have the light bar for free, works great. I am located in Auburn Alabama and willing to travel to meet you halfway if you need to travel a great distance. I am asking $1500 cash for the rack and all of the accessories. Willing to negotiate to expedite a sale. This rack truly is the best in the business. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or post below. Thanks!

Im looking at the same rack but for an LJ, without the light bar. How did you like the rack and was the wind noise bad?
Wind noise was not that bad, maybe ~10% louder. I really liked the rack pre-lifting the Jeep. Once I lifted the Jeep the rack became difficult to load things up onto and difficult to lower/close. If you open/close the softtop in 5 minutes, with the rack its a 12.5 minute ordeal. I used it to carry whitewater kayak and a mattress, although with the top down my roll bars could do the same thing. I think the rack looks damn good on an LJ. Customer service on the Gobi rack is near non-existant, which is not great. The rack can be purchased through Allen at @AOR a WTJF vendor for a discount than direct through Gobi. Overall I really like the rack.

Also a huge benefit of going Gobi is if you end up like me and selling it, there are no holes!

If you end up getting the rack, its a whole day install with two people. Use antiseize on every single bolt or it will gall. The quick disconnect price is highway robbery and had I known what the $100+ item was pre-purchase I would have just made my own.

Thanks for the heads up, We are looking to haul kayaks as well and don't have a soft top yet. I hadn't seen an LJ with a rack in person so I was hopping they looked ok but we need the function more so but we are lifted 4" so it might be a reach

If you keep the hardtop on year round then its best of both worlds. Just a pita to remove the hardtop with the rack folded back.

I agree it does look great on the LJ. If anyone is interested, shoot ma a PM or go directly to my site. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
@JamesAndTheSahara thank you for the mention. Much appreciated.

Namaste,

Allen
