Seen this before. Forbes is the last resource I would ever trust. I also find this funny, because Wranglers (including the JK) are consistently ranked year after year in the top 10 highest resale value of any vehicle out there. This is true too, because all you have to do is look at used ones, and they're almost as much as a new one!

Just goes to show that the categories Consumer Reports are interested in are not the categories consumers are interested in.

I suspect they also aren’t taking into consideration the category that the Wrangler falls into. It wasn’t meant to be a Range Rover in terms of luxury, quietness, etc.

The resale value speaks volumes though. I’m not a JK fan by any means, but I’ll defend any model of Wrangler if it comes down to it.

They admit... "great resale value".... All the rest is subjective. Me?, I like the ride. And wind noise? Quieter than a Bentley Continental GT with the top down at 208mph.....

Looks like they were judging mainly on comfort... if you want comfort buy a Cherokee but if you wanna just get out amongst it all, get a Wrangler.

I think my jeep rides pretty good considering our roads here in Louisiana are comparable to open rock fields or a speed bump farm, where they grow them for use throughout the country.

They're right. The Wrangler isn't as reliable as most everything out there. It isn't as comfortable and there are probably some quieter motorcycles out there. But, people who buy them know this. Fake news.
