Front axle decision: Ford Dana 44 or Dana 60?

Bunch of guys use the TMR shave kit up here, works great as far as I can tell. Gotta say I'm tempted by a 15 bolt rear but so far I haven't broken anything on my JK44 so it's hard to justify.

Bleepnjeep did a video of installing a shave kit without machine shop. It's worth checking out.

Yea I’ve seen his video. It would be nice to have a 14. But like you said, its difficult to warrant if what you have is working fine.

That's the problem, my jeep is working too well, now I'm onto the "nice to have" list of mods... Its expensive.
