Hello all, new to this forum, great one by the way. I have a 99 TJ, front left parking light doesn't work. Blinker works fine and side marker light works. All lights work except the left parking light. I've changed the bulb (twice) and also used a test light on the socket. I'm not getting power to the parking light wire. I'm getting power to the side marker (running and blinker) just not the front light. Haven't pealed back the wiring harness yet just wondering if there's a different place to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Check the ground wires in the area. I'm not in the mood to look at the wiring diagrams, but I know on the CJ, the marker lights would alternate because of some clever way that one light use the ground on the other light, the result is that one would work and the other wouldn't.

And also in general grounds always be causing problems.

Thanks so much for the replies. Turns out it was a broken wire, looks like the side marker feeds the power to the front light and was broken in between. Thanks again.

Can you elaborate which wire it was and how you replaced it? I have the same exact issue and I’m having trouble pinning it down.
