I use similar mirrors, but cut about half the tube off and redrilled it. The mirror sits about 2" away from the windshield frame.$19.99 Smittybilts, work fine. I take them off when doors are on but you can leave them

Do you want to use the passenger side mirror? Any of this style bracket moves the mirror on the passenger side to far forward to be useful. There's a reason why the factory puts the mirrors where they are on the hinge! These look good. I like how it has a bracket. At first glance it looks like stock mirrors.
Is the any vibrations in the mirrors?
I have the rugged ridge version and agree that it's basically worthless for the passenger side even more when the doors are on. Also had to buy a new mirror because the hardware inside the factory mount had rusted so bad that I couldn't remove them from their mount. I bought an adjustable door strap so the door wouldn't hit the mirror when opening.Anybody use these? https://www.quadratec.com/products/13125_0201.htm
Thats a great idea! Going to do the same thing. Good callI use similar mirrors, but cut about half the tube off and redrilled it. The mirror sits about 2" away from the windshield frame.
I have those, but round mirrors. Although I had to grab better hardware, no big deal. I like them a lot.Get these, and replace the quick release bolt with a conventional bolt. https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/quick-release-mirror-square-head-wrangler
