Fuel gauge problem

Hello, I have problems with the fuel gauge, when I start my jeep it shows full and it also goes down to empty. I changed the fuel pump and sending unit but the problem remains. any idea what it could be?

Welcome to the forum.

I would disconnect the fuel pump wire connector and closely inspect the vehicle side of the plug and the wires in the loom for any corrosion damage.

I cleaned the plug and looked for a break in the wiring under the jeep. Also clean the cluster plugs.
