Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump, Skid Plate, Filler Neck

My tank is leaking and from what I've read, it cannot be replaced. I have enough projects going on and do not want to shell out the $ for the nice new ones.

I have the fuel tank + skid plate + fuel pump + filler neck, etc from an '04. Is there any reason those will not work for my '05?

Everything about the gas tank is different between the 04 and 05: Fuel pump, evap equipment, wiring, hoses, the hole the fuel pump goes in. Bummer.

Yes they are different 97-02 then 03-04 and then 05-06 I have replaced my tank a few times and I even has a 05-06 tank because I was hoping it would fit.
