There is lots of "buzz" around capabilities like Google's Bard and ChatGPT. Since I've been playing around with both, I asked one of them to do the following:

"Write a poem about the history of the Jeep"

Here's the response I got:

"Born to serve, built for war,
Jeep, the mighty automobile star,
A history of battles and victory, Jeep,
the savior of humanity.

From the Willys MB to the Wrangler of today,
Jeep has been on a journey, come what may,
Through the sands of Africa and the beaches of Normandy,
Jeep carried the brave and the bold, ever handy.

The Jeep was built for the military,
A rugged vehicle, strong and sturdy,
It was designed to overcome any obstacle,
And to serve in the harshest of conditions, possible.

The Jeep was a symbol of freedom and power,
It could take on any terrain, hour after hour,
From the forests of Europe to the deserts of Arabia,
Jeep's versatility made it a legend, for eternity.

After the war, Jeep made its way to the people,
As a vehicle for all, it was no longer a sequel,
From farmers to adventurers,
from police to firefighters,
Jeep became an icon, a true warrior.

Today, Jeep stands tall, with pride,
As a vehicle that has crossed the oceans wide,
A history of bravery, of courage, and of might,
Jeep remains a symbol, of freedom's light."

These things are cool, but I am terrified of them. In my eyes, real life terminator could easily happen within the next 50 years… maybe not to the same degree, but anything combining a robot and AI is scary, I think.

Additionally, I know people in school that use chatgpt to cheat on everything, they can get the robot or whatever it is to write an entire essay in the students “writing style” so that is undetectable by teachers. Encouraging already-lazy-people to still be lazy and yet do well. I don’t see any good in these things. It’s crazy that technology has come this far, but I’m scared of where it is going
