Going from a 3in BL to 1.25in BL do I need new brake lines

As stated in the title and from previous advice i am lowering my TJ from a 3in body lift to a 1.25in body lift. I will still have a 4 in suspension lift though. Do I need new steel lines for this? In my head it makes sense because lowering the body would then lower the master cylinder and move the proportioning valve down causing the steel lines to lower as well. Is my thinking correct?

Also thanks so much to this community for the help so far!
 
You should be fine. If the lines are a tad long just bend them slightly to take up the slack.

I bought it with the lift already, so im not sure if they were extended or not. But given the fact they look new compared to the rest of the frame im assuming the were extended
