Good deal on Bubba Rope recovery kit

I was looking around for recovery gear and pricing out a few options when I stumbled across what looked like a good deal at summit racing. Figured I would post in case anyone else was looking for similar. They had other variations of this kit at good prices too.

$270 for a kit with the following:

- Bubba kinetic energy recovery - Renegade rope 3/4” x 30ft - 19k breaking strength
- Two 3/8" NexGen PRO Gator-Jaw Synthetic Shackle - 47k breaking strength
- 10 ft. tree hugger protector strap
- Winch line damper/tool pouch
- Pair of 1 in. x 6 ft. Bubba Rope camo ratcheting tie-downs
- Life "Rock" guard
- Recovery Kit Bag bundled with bungie cord and velcro strap
- Random stickers and keychain

Everywhere else, including the bubba rope site, it looked like the above kit was $400-$460 with everything above. Their site shows this item being a couple weeks delayed shipping, but I ordered last Saturday and it was delivered Wednesday.

That’s not bad, I’ve been looking at the TRE bag from there website, It’s 221 for a 30ft rope, 2 soft shackles, 30 ft tow strap, gloves and a bag. Not to bad if you don’t have a winch.

I put my own together. 10 ft tree strap, home made soft shackles, and bag for $70
