Working on 01 grand Cherokee long story short changed pcm now it won't run skim module went to salvage yard and got key from used ecm come from and took skim module off column and held key from the salvage yard up to it and used the original key and it still done the same. Starts and does does it have to be on the column.

So you're saying you have the ECM, SKIM, and key all from the same salvaged vehicle and it still doesn't start? That surprises me because that should work.

Otherwise you need to get the 4 digit skim PIN from the dealership and find somebody with a DRB3 to do the "replaced PCM" function to update the PCM VIN number and marry it to your old SKIM.

I need to find someone that can reprogram my ecm and do away with the skim the key I got ended up not having a chip in it l.
