Has anyone run any parts of the GWT? I have a Gazeteer that shows it. I'm thinking about doing some parts of it. Any thoughts, advice, comments on difficulty?
Arizona Great Western Trail

Since there are, at least a couple of people following, here's what I can see on my maps. There's a trail that starts at Cave Creek/Camp Creek skirts Aqua Fria and crosses I17 at Middle Verde. From there it goes around Mingus Mountain to Jerome. From Jerome it kind of meanders through the Coconino to Williams. I'm thinking the run to Jerome for some wine tasting and then back to Phoenix would be cool. But also a little sight seeing north of Jerome would be good too. Although that might be a late spring early summer camping trip.
