I looked up on car parts that @Chris has shared and used 75001 zip code as I'm not sure where in Dallas you live and found some in Pasadena from manuals auto. They don't list the price but might not hurt to call as a comparison. I had entered 03 rubi but I don't think that should matter if yours is a 04. 1000 seems pricey to me but haven't seen any with the top part also. Then again, it's what they are asking for them, you can always offer less .

Wow, that's quite a bit steep. I would think $800 at most for a set of near mint doors. Maybe I am out of line though?

It's not the worst deal I've seen I've seen rusted out or mis matched paint ones even spray painted ones for the same price. Push for like $600-700 since they are half doors in my opinion. But they look nice!

Shoot, I see half doors frequently for less than 500 bucks. Way too expensive

I didn't ask because I didn't think he'd drop his price 40-50%, which is what I'd be looking to pay. I may ask tomorrow.

You should. Low ball him 500 and You could say you asked the price on a Jeep forum and they said this. Who knows. I think it's with a shot. See if he'd take 500. I personally think under $700 is a good deal! But it depends what you want to pay. Jeep doors are expensive either way for how simple they are.

Well, worst he could do would be to track you down and kill you for low balling. But that's extreme. I had a guy on eBay theaten to shoot me, sue me, and hack all my personal files and a long list of other things for low balling. His eBay account was closed. (Not like he couldn't just make a new one )

I wasn't but I was trying to tie in a bad experience I had and make it funny

But yes I agree with fouledplugs worst he'd most likely say is no. Best of luck! Hope you get the doors cheap!

$800.00 is the max I'd pay and thats with great seals & hard uppers/sliding glass uppers. On ebay they sell quite frequently for roughly $600.00 with shipping. If you stick local you can find a deal and possibly $200.00-$250.00 each door.
