Half doors pricing

So I have been looking for some oe half doors, mostly on eBay.. I’m seeing all of them around 500 for a pair.. my TJ is blue so I’m trying to find a matching pair..

My question is what is a good/fair price for a set? Is 500$ pretty standard? I found a set that is blue by they have a bend on the bottom and some rust.. I would basically have to sand the rust and fix the bend and respray.. so at that point the original color wouldn’t matter..

Is it hard to find matching paint for our TJS?

From what I’ve seen I’d say $500 is pretty bang on. There’s not that many half doors out there and not many people willing to depart with them.

I’ve had no problem with body shops matching my white TJ (PW1) and duplicolor as well as mopar still have spray cans out there.

I bought a set that was in good condition but missing a few pieces for $200. I think I can restore them for another $75 or so.

I was kinda thinking about it like that as well. The set I was looking at I could see 350 maybe.. but it needs some work

That is a better set, the interior color is different than mine. I have black interior, guess it isn’t a huge deal lol

Yea I would paint them myself, but at least matching the paint shouldn’t be to hard. Like you said there are only so many half doors out there.. by next summer I want a set, I don’t mind waiting for a good “clean” set

This set was posted by another user. In North Carolina, but looks like color would match if you have Patriot Blue. Insides look a little rough.

Those are really nice, I wonder how hard it would be to get the matching black interior on them. Plus we are on opposite sides of the coast haha.. I would have to see if they are willing to ship it

You could reach out to Davey’s Jeep’s and likely get the interior pretty easy. If it helps I found that my interior color was identified on the passenger side dash speaker cover. When removed from the dash there was a sticker on the inside that gave the color. Helpful if you aren’t sure of the exact name.

I used Duplicolor on a tailgate and have had huge issues with it. It just doesn't hold up.

I believe the name for the black interior on 03-06 models is "Dark Slate Gray".

Davies Jeep said they have a set of green half doors with the slate interior.. but I am to be contacted if they happen to come by a set of blue with the slate interior.
