New-ish member here and first time posting!

My father in law bought a TJ brand new in 2003. He drove it rarely, and parked it in the garage. My wife learned to drive in it when she turned 16 in 2012. Fast forward to a few years ago and he was selling his house (and Jeep) to travel the country. I bought it from him for a very good price and finally started to work on it recently. Every time he is in town, I can see the joy in his face when he sees the jeep, especially the work that's being done on it.

As a side note, I am very exited for my son to drive it someday and make it a 3rd generation TJ!

Since it is a sport X and I plan to do some very hard off-roading, the first step was lockers. I luckily have a set of Dana 44s out of a JK Rubicon so they are getting swapped in as we speak and I am converting the front to a 3 link and the back to a 4 link triangulated suspension ( and stretching a few inches). I am a metal fabricator by trade so the shoe fits!

Also, special thanks to @Chris, I have been lurking on this forum for a few years and that man is in every thread giving answers.

Welcome and I look forward to see what a pro on the tools can do. There is a ton of skill represented in this forum and a hack like me can learn a lot from those who really know what they are doing!
