I used to try to respond to every person on FB MP who said they might be interested. I’d get lost with who’s who when there were 10 or more people. I started just replying to the first 3-4 people.

I listed my rusty non-running 79 CJ7 on marketplace for way more than it should have gone for. I got 150 replies in an hour, I replied to each one under the assumption that 90% would be people who were never going to follow up beyond the initial "Hello, is this still available?" But I also work in sales, so every contact is a lead.

Still cant believe anyone paid for that piece of crap.

If some possible buyers just use the "Hello, is this still available?" and others write out their own interest, I always give preference to those with personal interest.
