I have a 2006 Sport that did not have wiring for a rear defroster or wiper. I just bought a really nice "04 hard top and before I store it for the summer I would like to run a plug and wire assembly and possibly the washer.

Recommendations I know I will have to run wires im also wondering if its worth it to run a hose as well.

I just completed this project. You'll see a summary of my experience in the thread highlighted by 03sahara above. The key is finding the donor harnesses at a decent price. I got mine at http://www.briskeymountain4wd.com and the seller said he has more available. I paid $125 for both donor harnesses that are required (dash and body). You'll also need a dual pump washer reservoir and the wiper/defrost switches. I also got those from Briskey Mountain. @Scoutmaster did an excellent job with his diagram.
