Hardtop wiring find

Ran across this on my local CL... would this kit work with my 2006 LJ hardtop or is this for earlier TJ models?

The part number isn't what I find when looking at new parts.

For reference the part # for a new part is 82208907ab

I'm 75% sure the CL find is for 97-02...

Shit my bad.. my reply was confusing and lacked information. The part number of the CL ad appears to be 82205103. Wasn't sure if that number would cross reference with 82208907ab or not.

Well according to Google, 82205103 only fits 2000-2001 Wranglers. Somehow I don't believe that, not for one second. I know that the hard tops were different from 97-02 and then from 03-06 (the latter had no rear vents and different connectors), but that's the ONLY differences I'm aware of throughout the years.

For that price though, I would just buy it. See if it works, and if it doesn't, you can EASILY resell it. People on the forum are looking for hard top wiring harnesses all the time.

Thanks Chris. Talked to the guy and he agreed that it would work 97-02. Would need modification to work with newer. Not going to go out of my way to pick it up but if I find myself on that side of town I'm going to give him a call back.
