Headlight bezel / trim ring question

I pulled both of these off in hopes of painting them but managed to lose one. Are the left and right ones identical? I want to purchase one and I see they are advertised as left or right side. I could take the one I have and try to fit it back on to see what side it fits but wanted to see if anyone knew off the top of their head. Thanks

They are not interchangeable.

Amazon has black plastic replacements for about 30

I painted mine, I think will go with the Amazon black plastic if I have to do it all over.

after accounting for materials, time invested and results ... I'd buy the black aftermarket trim rings next time around
