Headlight bright indicator won't come on when I use the brights

You need to take out the gauge cluster and replace the light bulb for the bright indicator.

Very easy to do.

I did take my cluster out on my yj and it was simple. Where do I start on mu 06 tj?

upgrade them all to led while you are in there..pretty easy, I have had mine out several times

I upgraded all mine to cool white leds and love it. The high beam indicator was way to bright though. I felt like it was burning through my soul. I tried 2 or 3 different lower watt leds for it but it still stayed too bright. I ended up changing just the high beam indicator back to the original incandescent bulb that was in it.

I'm also having this problem. I replaced the light bulb but the indicator light still doesn't come on with brights. The brights and dims work fine, any suggestions? Thanks.

Me too. Brights work. The bulb is fine. The indicator won't come on... How you resolved this?
