Hello!

I would like to do an upgrade to my headlights, but I do not really want to spend too much money for a led sealed beam.

If I buy a more expensive halogen bulb, or put a led bulb in my stock housing, is it worth it? Will there be a noticeable difference or not really?

Here are three previous threads on the subject which should answer all of your questions:

Maybe I dont have stock housing, because I have checked and I can replace my halogen bulbs.
I have the HELLA E4 Housing.

I don't know whether an LED bulb in an H4 housing would be legal where you are, nor do I know if there is even such a thing as an LED bulb compatible with an H4 housing.

I am not a fan of LED headlights in any event. I prefer the color temperature of the H4 bulbs I am using.

Make sure your headlight wiring pigtails are clean and making good contact with the bulb terminals, and clean grounds.

ALot of us are running Trucklite Knockoffs. They are LED headlights for around $65 a set. And they work very well.

Here's a 20 page thread on them. If all you want is a cheap set of headlights in LED. That are good quality. This is the ticket.

Be aware some folks have had them shut off while driving. You get what you pay for. Also, it’s best not to buy and support a product that knocks off a reputable manufacture.
