Bought my son a Jeep for graduation and liked it so much had to jump in too!
just finished a rebuild on a 98 TJ I bought for New York. lots of rust issues, but worth
the work!

Knocked off all the rust underneath and repainted it with Chasis Saver.
4" Rough Country Lift
Replaced Fuel tank skid plate
SYE kit
Advanced Adaptor Cable shifter (best deal ever!)
that's all for now... other little things...
new brakes all the way around and brake lines!
and new tires and rims.. lol
I tell you what there was a time i didn't know if she was gonna ever drive right again!!
 
thank you very much, on my build sheet, it's called Bright Jade Satin Glow.
I read somewhere they only made a few this color in '97 & '98.
Most call it teal. :cool:

I had my side window shattered last night while driving on a gravel road. Odd. lol
I guess a rock flew up and hit it. Looks like a booger to put a side window in.
 
That is pretty odd indeed... Are we talking about a hard top glass window?
 
I would do the same. Installing glass isn't as easy as it might seem. There's an art to it.
