Hello from Colorado - TJ rebuild

Mine came with half doors and I drove with them for years. They are quite a bit noisier than full doors, you notice a lot more wind noise around the A-pillar area.

The windows are a pain in the ass to unzip, especially if you’re moving.

That said, they are nice to have when you go top down. My wife prefers them to totally doorless, she feels a bit safer. And when you’re off-road they can help keep some of the water/mud/dirt out of the cabin.

I finally bought a set of full doors a little over a year ago and overall I like them much better. I did hang on to my half doors though. They are a nice luxury to have for nice weather, but I wouldn’t want to go back to them full time.

I love my half doors. They are one of the reasons I bought that Jeep, but my TJ isn't my daily driver. If it were, I'd want full doors. The zip windows are a PITA and not real secure.

If you want them, get them and try them out for a while. You should be able to sell them if you prefer full or no doors.
