Hello, I'm Daniel, a college student from Northern Michigan. I have had my TJ for close to a year and I am always looking for things to upgrade. The Jeep is a 2000 Sport with a rebuilt straight six, auto trans, hardtop, 3 inch lift, aftermarket rims, and 33x12.5 Goodyear Duratracs. I drive it year round and love how it gets through Michigan's snowstorms. The only downfall of driving in the winter is the rust. I do go offroad occasionally but nothing to serious, since it is my daily driver. I have already found alot of useful information on the forum and look forward to building up my TJ.

Welcome to the forum Daniel! Great looking TJ.

If you want to protect it against rust, there is one thing that I can swear by:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B93ZXGS/?tag=wranglerorg-20

Coat the underside of your vehicle in that stuff 2-3 times a year, and you'll NEVER have to worry about rust again. Read all the reviews on there if you don't believe me. That stuff is literally a miracle.

Thanks Chris, I'll definitely have to get some of that before winter.

You won't regret it. As long as you coat your chassis with that stuff a few times a year, you'll NEVER get rust ever again... Even if you submerge it in salt water!

It's easy to apply as well.
