Just want to say thanks to everyone who has contributed to the extensive wealth of knowledge documented on this forum. I've been perusing the last couple of days in effort of refreshing my mind about TJs. We had a 97 about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't research thoroughly at the time - we just wanted a TJ - and that had the 4 cyl. Didn't work out for our intended purposes, and although I thought about a v8 swap, funds at the time didn't agree with that plan.
Fast forward to today, we currently have a 2020 4 door JL freedom edition and just acquired this 97 4.0 TJ from a good buddy.
It needs a lot of love, but we'll take care of her.
Looking forward to documenting the build and contributing to the forum.
