Can you identify the make and model of this car? A friend is trying to identify it. The car belonged to his grandparents.

My dad bought one new, he used to talk about it all the time, I think it was his first new car. WAY better looking than the 57 Chevy IMO.
I bought the book when it was first released (I mean, like within a couple of days of its release!). The errors in it were glaring to a car freak like myself. How bad was it? Some examples:
*It showed a '57 Fury on the back of the book jacket, with King standing next to it, yet it was referred to as a '58 in the book.
*It referred to Arne opening one of the rear doors, which would indicate it was a 4-door. Problem is, the Fury was never produced as a 4-door until 1959, when it became available as a 4-door hardtop.
*When Arne was at Auto Shop, he was said to have opened the hood to "reveal its gleaming valves on top of the pistons". I don't even have a comment for that one, except to say that I wouldn't let Stephen King put air in my tires after reading that line.
* Buddy (the high school punk in the story) was said to drive a "Ford Camaro". Ummm...no.
In spite of all these ridiculous flaws, I loved the book, and couldn't wait for the movie to come out. The movie has some seriously crappy acting in it, but the car was the bomb, so it got a pass.
