Help identifying sensor maybe?

I was reinstalling my drive train this weekend can came across this:

This sensor comes off the loom of wires that has the o2 sensor connectors and the transmission and transfer case case connectors.
It only has about a 5 inch pigtail off the loom so it seems to want to attach to something on the TC but can not figure it out.

1998 TJ 2.5L 5 speed. Single cat with two O2 sensors no AC.

Also the TC vent tube where do you bolt it too?

My 2000 2.5 5- speed has it hanging down too. I have wondered myself.

I finally did a search of the numbers on the sensor and found this:

So it may have only been used if it had the automatic.

Awesome do you know which one?
My guess would be the highest one I seem to have a ton of slack on that tube.

Top right on the 4.0. Guessing similar for others.
