I have a 98 2.5L Sport . I bought a Bestop ‘Replace A Top 97-02 Jeep Wrangler TJ‘ . It doesn’t fit! It had a Bestop on originally so I’m not sure what I should have bought. Please can anyone help identify what soft top I need from the pictures below? Thank you.

It looks like to me the Bestop Supertop Classic but that rear bow looks a little different being it mounted to the rear of the sports bar.

Edited: If you are sure it was a Bestop, I would reach out to them with your photos.

Hi Andy, I'll send Bestop an email with photos as you suggest. The old soft top had a Bestop sticker on it. That’s all I had to go on. Many thanks

I am at a loss on this one. It looks like you have a Sunrider feature on the front section and that would lead me to Bestop. But the configuration of the two-bow, the one over the sound bar, the three-bow attached to the sport bar and the absence of the side frames leave me scratching my head.

Interested unknowing the answer...
Good luck

Bestop Sunrider Hardware on the page that @TheBoogieman posted above. I was familiar with the Supertop Classic hardware but not the Sunrider hardware.

AZ Off-road & Performance have replied and say ‘ you need a factory style OEM bow structure. You will need the inner frame that is the same as what came on it from the factory’ .

That was my thought.. no idea what top you had on previously as the existing hardware looks like a mix of a few manufactures.

From the link Boogieman posted, you have the Trektop with Sunrider hardware. I don't know if they sell the fabric only, but if so, maybe they'll let you return the one you got for that.
Failing all that, you might want to just see if you can return it outright, and buy a frameless top until you have the funds for something more. I run a frameless, and it works for me.

Big second for the TrekTop Nx Framless. I've had it on all of my Jeeps and love it!!

Hey everyone! Shawna from Bestop Customer Service here. That is the discontinued Bestop Sunrider for the TJ! All of the hardware has officially been discontinued, where it was superseded by the Supertop Squareback. As you already found out, a new hardware system would work for that Replace A Top but if you got this through us directly, we can return it and get you a Supertop Squareback as a full system. Hope this helps!

Hi folks, a quick update. I’ve been able to return the soft top that didn’t fit. I then intend to go for either the NX Trektop Frameless as most suggest or the Supertop NX. I’m going to go with a UK specialist supplier who will fit it too. I’ll update with some pictures when it’s done!
I really appreciate all your help and advice. Cheers for now , Andy

I have the Bestop Twill with the moon roof panel and love it, but that don't look like my frame either. All Bestops have that cross bar in the back window that I've seen.
