Looking for someone to validate that my wrangler would only have 1 upstream and 1 downstream and that they are the same sensor?

I asked my local shop and that is what they told me - that my model only has 1 upstream and 1 downstream and they are the same sensor?

History.. My check engine light came on. I check codes by turning the key and received both the P0031 and P0051 codes.

After reading about those codes on here,I took someone's advice and changed my gas cap - codes went away for about a month.

So now I am assuming that my O2 sensors are in fact bad. Jeep has over 130K on it and I am 95% sure they are the originals. (Also read on here that they really should be changed out every 80k or so anyhow - so I am assuming this is the issue).

I really want to validate what this shop is telling me because most of what I have read on here is that there is a Bank 1 and Bank 2 each having there own upstream and downstream.

Is there something unusual about my year and model? - 2003 Wrangler X 4.0 Auto

Thanks

Thanks for the link - there appears to be alot of useful information in there.

Can anyone advise if my jeep does in fact have 4 separate o2 sensors that need replaced?

Or does it only have 2?

Thanks
