A few months ago I bought a 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ SE 2.5L with 82k miles. It was sitting for a long time and I was hesitant but the price was good and I figure I'll take a chance. I put about 3000 miles since i had it and it doesn't burn any oil and rides great. I changed and upgraded many things because of the age.
New tires, shocks ( the original ones were still on ) new brakes, changed engine oil, front and rear end, transfer case and transmission. New steering damper.
I took out the original tape radio and put in a Atoto A6, radio that seems to do everything.
