Awesome Thread...Now I get it. You started wheeling with your dad when you were what, 10? That's awesome that you've come to a point in your lift to get the Jeep fixed up again. I'd give almost ANYTHING to find the old VW dunebuggy that my dad had during my formative years. It was a real Meyers Manx, Bright orange with aluminum Slot mags and Goodyear Wide ovals in back. It had LOTS of issues with wiring and what not but we had so much fun in that car. He sold it to come up with cash for buying the business he worked at, which worked out really well for him, but we lost track of that car. I've asked him if he remembers who bought it, or if he has any records...he doesn't.
Good Luck! I'm subscribing
Yup, nothing I'm doing would make any sense without the sentimental value that my Jeep has. My Dad was never into 4 wheeling at all. But when I was 9, we went beach driving in Nantucket, MA to go fishing and I was hooked (picture of my Jeep on the same beach in 2016 below). I then convinced my Dad to book the off-roading 101 course at Rausch Creek and I've been into Jeeps and wheeling ever since then. The Jeep is more of a father son project at this point. I'm still a college student so I'm still not in a position to be fixing it myself, but my Dad and I have both decided that we want to get the Jeep fixed up again. Too many memories to let it go or let it sit in the garage.
I just can't see paying 250 but for rear tail lights. Lol

It was hard paying that price, but they are worth it to me, especially considering how tough they are. You can't beat the way they look either.
