For sale is a high pinion Dana 30 axle out of a late 90’s Jeep XJ. Was most recently installed in a 2000 TJ. Has been modified for a front Savvy 3 Link setup and 2” front stretch. This axle would make for almost plug-and-play for front TJ’s and LJ’s. I am happy to discuss what it would take to install in your Jeep. Below is a list of parts installed on this axle.
Savvy front 3 link truss
Barnes 4WD JK coil mounts
Artec Industries high Steer track bar mount
Artec Industries Lower Control Arm mounts
Black Magic Brakes Sway Bar Mounts
Over the knuckle steering
Rusty’s Offroad Inverted T steering
Iron Rock Offroad Almost Alloy Shaft Upgrade with Spicer U Joints
Spicer axle seals (replaced 200 miles ago)
Includes Brakes Rotors And Knuckles to retain the high steer setup.
The axle does have a Detroit Locker installed and Revolution 4.88 gears however one of the assembly bolts on the Detroit broke and wedged itself between the ring and pinion gears and broke gear teeth. It needs new gears and more than likely a locker. The locker was working fine when pulled but would recommend replacing.
I completely overhauled this axle over the winter when i went to a front 3 link setup, and invested more than I care to admit recently and hoping to recoup some of it to fund its replacement.
Knowing I am going bigger tires, I now am replacing it with a crate axle. Willing to sell complete as listed to make the install easy for the buyer.
