Today when getting some suspension parts upgraded the jeep was on a lift and there was a high pitched whirring/squealing sound coming from the trans pan. We put a listening device up to it and it’s definitely in the trans pan. Techs had no idea what it could be. This was while the jeep was running a while and in park. Link to video of the noise:

We then lowered it to check the fluid level and when put in neutral, the noise stopped completely. The fluid looked normal level and was super clean BUT it had a bunch of bubbles in it. Not milky or anything, just air bubbles. Techs suggested doing a transmission fluid flush. The noise also doesn’t seem to be present when driving.
The jeep seems to otherwise shift normally. I’ve noticed a few times at the first drive of the day if it’s not warmed up, there will be a whining type noise when I shift into reverse or neutral & stay in those. But other than that nothing.
Anyone have any idea what this noise could be and why the air bubbles in the ATF, or any other suggestions other than changing the fluid? Thanks in advance!
