I finally had a chance to check out the Holly Oaks ORV Park in Southeast Michigan on Sunday. It was really rainy, which made some of the hill climbs quite exciting and limited the motorbike traffic. Between the lack of motorbikes due to rain and the fact that it was opening day for deer season here in Michigan, we nearly had the place to ourselves. Lots of trails, hill climbs and man-made obstacles (like the tires below). I should have taken a few more photos, but we were too busy having fun to stop and think about it.

Very cool, did you make it all the way through that tire obstacle?
Unfortunately not. I made it about 3/4 the way through. Eventually I had to get pulled backwards as the tires get significantly bigger as you go. Still working on my crawling skills - good thing they were tires and not rocks!

Wow, looks like a lot of fun! Wish our ORV park was a little bigger. Ours is geared more to the dirt bikes. Loved the pics!!

We got a chance to check out Holly Oaks last weekend. I gotta say, for a smaller place (106 acres) they really have a lot of things to do there. Mostly man-made obstacles but very well put together and plenty of challenging spots to play on. Very well marked trails and obstacles to handle higher volumes of traffic.

One of my favorite spots was a mountain of concrete maybe 25 feet high. It had ledges, stair steps and off-camber climbs. It also had a mini "hot tub" that was maybe 12 feet deep. Plenty of different challenges for all types of builds, including a hillside made for mostly stock vehicles.

Check out their website before you visit as they have some different requirements for entry. We spent about 5 hrs there and had a great time. I'd really recommend checking it out if you get the chance!

I have no idea, I haven't been there yet. There's a "friends of holly oaks ORV" FB page, that's where I found the pic. There's a vid of the recovery somewhere....

You should check it out if you get the chance. The park exceeded my expectations!
