Host F550 4X4 Motorhome Quad Slide 330

Dogs reacted to someone in the driveway this morning but only barked once so I knew it wasn't a delivery. Or so I thought 🤔.

The other recliner was delivered but whomever did just dropped it off at the end of my driveway and didn't even bother to come knock on my door. WTF?? This is $$$ that they just sat there.
Only reason I'd gone outside was because I was going into town to pickup my trailer.

Big project today and still not done. But have some ideas for how I want things.
Took the old couch out and still not sure what I'm going to do with it. Then set the base of the recliner in the coach.

And got the center console out so I could measure things.

What a mess and not enough room. Plus it's windy as heck so I couldn't have the door open.

The upper back for the recliner. These are made to fit through a 24" door.

Set in place approximately were they'll end up.

I've got about 9" on on each side to do something with.

And then reclined back

Picked up the Jeep trailer also today. I'd been having wiring issues with it and the coupler was broken so I had it all fixed.
It also needed a new battery box since the original one had been broken years ago.

Had the bearings packed and all the brakes checked also. So once I'm ready to hit the road the trailer is good.

The old couch sitting next to my house right now while I try and figure out what I'm going to do with it.

Reading lamp with a high & low level

20220804_221607.jpg

3 Speed rechargeable fan. Has about a 2 hour run time once the battery is charged.

The controls are backlite

And there is under seat lighting also.

Right now I've got them wired into the outlets that only have power when connected to shore power or if the generator is running but I'm going to attempt to rewire that plug and connect it to my inverter so that I'll be able to power it without the generator or shore power.

The motorcycle wheel chock arrived today so I installed it on my trailer.
The boards wouldn't allow me to center it exactly but it's only off by about 1/2".

Drilled the 4 holes and bolted it down onto the trailer. The base plate will stay on the trailer but the chock can be removed if needed.

My Black Stone grill also was delivered today. So I'm about ready to take the motorhome out for it's first trip.

Love those chocks, they make life easier when you're working alone

I'd always just tied the bike down on the trailer but I never was really comfortable with the bike just strapped on. This way I'm not as worried about it.
I've got a tri-fold aluminum ramp for the rear since I dumped my Buell trying to use the car ramps once. Only scratched it and broke a turn indicator. I'd hate to drop my CVO.

After reading about how to install the recliners and watching YouTube videos of people replacing their sofas most times they aren't even bolted down. Now I'm not going to drive this thing like a race car or a Jeep on a trail I'm still not sure about it just sitting there. I think I'm going to use a few of the bolts that the old sofa was bolted down with just to make sure it doesn't move.

The recliners are installed but I'd still like to do a little bit more to make it better. I've also got to decide if I want them centered in the slide or do I want to push them to one side so I could put some type of storage at one side.

Even though they are considered wall hugger recliners I can't move them any closer to the wall right now because they catch on the window trim & I need that for the blinds.

With the underseat lights on and the cup holder lights on.

Is you tv centered with them? If not, shift them that way, or so that your chair is closer to centered.

Also got the hitch ready for towing the trailer with the bike on it.

Started off thinking I needed to lower the ball and got the wrenches and sockets out to do so and then did a DUH moment when I remembered I had the coach up on the levelers.

It's still sitting a little high in the front but close to where I'd like it.

At 16 1/2" it should be pretty level or close to it.

Got to clean it out and get all the tools and old parts out and then start loading stuff into it that I've bought for it. Waiting on my pharmacy to fill my meds before I can take off for about a week or so. Then I'll come back and hit the Jeep hard.
